A Refined Paperbark Finish Tailored to the Coastal Landscape

We recently completed a premium metal roof restoration at a residential property in Mount Eliza, continuing our work on this tightly held block where we have now restored roofs on four other neighbouring homes. The project came to us through a client referral, which reflects the level of trust we’ve built within this street and the wider Mount Eliza community.

The home features a Colorbond metal roofs that had gradually weathered due to coastal exposure. Our objective was to restore the roof to a high standard while selecting a finish that would enhance the home’s architectural style and blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment.

Comprehensive High pressure Roof cleaning
We commenced with a thorough pressure clean to remove dirt, salt residue, and environmental buildup common in bayside areas. This step is essential to ensure correct surface preparation and long-term performance of the coating system.

Preium Three-Coat Roof Painting System
To achieve a durable and refined result, we applied a professional three-coat system using Premier Paints:

Metal primer applied as the first coat to protect against corrosion and ensure optimal adhesion

Two top coats in Paperbark, selected for its warm, neutral tones

Paperbark is particularly well suited to Mount Eliza homes, complementing the area’s leafy streetscapes, coastal surrounds, and contemporary architecture. The colour provides a timeless, understated finish while also helping to reduce heat absorption.

The Result

The completed restoration has transformed the roof, delivering a clean, sophisticated appearance that significantly enhances the home’s street appeal. In addition to the visual improvement, the roof is now well protected against UV exposure, salt air, and changing coastal weather conditions.
