Recent Project – Roof Restoration in Hastings

Complete Roof Restoration & Painting in Monument

We recently completed a full roof restoration in Hastings for a homeowner whose roof was beginning to show signs of wear from years of exposure to the bayside elements. Living near Western Port Bay, homes in Hastings are regularly exposed to salt air, strong coastal winds, heavy rain, and harsh UV conditions — all of which can gradually impact the condition and appearance of a roof.

Over time, the roof had faded and required maintenance to restore both its protection and street appeal. Our goal was to rejuvenate the surface, reinforce the ridge caps, and deliver a modern finish that complemented the home’s exterior.

What We Completed – Hastings Roof Restoration

✔ High-Pressure Roof Cleaning
We pressure cleaned the entire roof to remove built-up dirt, moss, lichen, and coastal salt residue. This created a clean surface ready for repairs and coating.

✔ Full Roof Repointing
All ridge caps were fully repointed using a flexible, weather-resistant compound designed to withstand movement and coastal weather conditions. Proper repointing helps prevent cracks and water entry, particularly important in bayside environments.

✔ Three-Coat Roof Painting System – Monument
To complete the restoration, we applied our premium three-coat system:

1 x sealer coat for strong adhesion

2 x top coats of high-performance roof membrane

Colour: Monument

The rich Monument finish perfectly complemented the home’s dark brickwork and matching garage door, giving the property a cleaner, sharper, and more contemporary appearance. The darker tone tied everything together and made the entire home look tidy and well-maintained.

The Result – A Protected, Modernised Home

This Hastings roof restoration delivered both visual and structural improvements:

-Fully secured and repointed ridge caps

-Long-lasting UV and weather protection

-A modern Monument finish suited to the home’s exterior

-A cleaner, more cohesive overall look

With ongoing exposure to Western Port Bay’s coastal conditions, regular roof maintenance is essential in Hastings. This restoration ensures the roof is protected and looking its best for years to come.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caleb from Enhanced Paint and Roof Restoration recently repaired some leaks and damage on our roof, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. What stood out most was his professionalism and communication — he explained exactly what needed to be done, kept us updated throughout the job, and was upfront and honest about the work involved. No pressure, no hidden surprises, just clear and reliable communication the whole way through.

The repair work itself was done to a high standard, and it’s clear Caleb takes real pride in his craft. We were impressed enough that we’re already planning to have him back next year to paint the roof. Would happily recommend him to anyone needing roof repairs done properly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Definately one of the best home improvement decisions I've made was for Caleb at Enhanced Paint and roof Restoration to carry out repair, cleaning and finally a beautiful paint restoration on my tired terracotta tiles.
His approach was friendly, very professional, a reasonable quotation and finally a result that I couldn't be happier with.
My neighbour witnessing Calebs professional restoration is now considering him for her home.
I have no hesitation in recommending Caleb to others.
