Premium Coastal Roof Transformation in Mount Martha – High-End Cement Tile Roof Restoration & Roof Painting

This recent roof restoration project in Mount Martha was completed on a premium coastal property where presentation, finish quality, and colour selection were critical to achieving a high-end result. Located in one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most sought-after suburbs, the home already had strong architectural character, but the ageing roof was holding back its full visual impact.

The property featured a faded cement tile roof that had significantly dulled over time due to coastal exposure and weathering. With reddish brickwork and previously painted trims and garage doors in a soft ocean blue, the owners wanted a roof colour that would unify the home’s palette while lifting its overall street presence.

We completed a full roof restoration using a Colorbond-inspired finish in Deep Ocean — a colour we hadn’t previously used on this property type, but one that delivered an outstanding result. The deep navy tone worked perfectly with the coastal Mount Martha setting and tied together the existing colour scheme in a way that felt intentional, refined, and architecturally expensive.

Scope of Works – Roof Restoration Mount Martha

✔ High-Pressure Roof Cleaning
The entire cement tile roof was high-pressure cleaned to remove built-up lichen, moss, surface contamination, and years of weather exposure. This exposed the original tile profile and prepared the surface properly for repairs and coating adhesion.

✔ Full Ridge Cap Repointing
All ridge caps were re-pointingusing a flexible modern pointing compound designed to handle thermal movement and coastal conditions. This ensures long-term durability while maintaining a clean, sharp roofline finish.

✔ Three-Coat Roof Painting System in Colorbond Deep Ocean
The roof was finished using a premium three-coat roof painting system consisting of 1 coat primer and 2 top coats in Colorbond Deep Ocean. The result is a deep, rich coastal navy finish with excellent coverage, durability, and UV resistance.

Why Colorbond Deep Ocean Works So Well in Mount Martha

Deep Ocean has become an increasingly popular choice for high-end coastal homes due to its strong architectural presence without feeling harsh or overly industrial. In Mount Martha, where homes often balance natural textures, brickwork, and coastal tones, Deep Ocean performs exceptionally well.

In this project, the colour tied together the reddish brick exterior and the ocean blue trims and garage doors, creating a cohesive palette that felt deliberate and high-end. Instead of competing elements, the home now reads as a unified design.

The darker roof also sharpened the roofline and added contrast against the lighter coastal environment, elevating the property’s street appeal in a subtle but very effective way.

The Result

The finished roof restoration completely transformed the home’s presentation. What was once a tired, sun-faded cement tile roof is now a standout architectural feature that enhances the entire property.

The combination of Mount Martha’s coastal setting, the brick exterior, and the Deep Ocean roof finish delivered a refined, expensive-looking result that fits perfectly within the suburb’s premium property market.

This is a strong example of how thoughtful colour selection during a Mount Martha roof restoration or Mount Martha roof painting project can significantly elevate a home’s overall value and visual impact.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caleb from Enhanced Paint and Roof Restoration recently repaired some leaks and damage on our roof, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. What stood out most was his professionalism and communication — he explained exactly what needed to be done, kept us updated throughout the job, and was upfront and honest about the work involved. No pressure, no hidden surprises, just clear and reliable communication the whole way through.

The repair work itself was done to a high standard, and it’s clear Caleb takes real pride in his craft. We were impressed enough that we’re already planning to have him back next year to paint the roof. Would happily recommend him to anyone needing roof repairs done properly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Definately one of the best home improvement decisions I've made was for Caleb at Enhanced Paint and roof Restoration to carry out repair, cleaning and finally a beautiful paint restoration on my tired terracotta tiles.
His approach was friendly, very professional, a reasonable quotation and finally a result that I couldn't be happier with.
My neighbour witnessing Calebs professional restoration is now considering him for her home.
I have no hesitation in recommending Caleb to others.
