Roof Painting Frankston – Black Night Sky Cement Tile Roof Transformation

Recent Project – Roof Painting Frankston

We recently completed a Cement Tile roof painting project in Frankston, transforming a small family home from a tired, weathered roof into a clean, modern finish using a premium black coating system in Black / Night Sky.

The homeowners were a lovely local family who had already upgraded the exterior of their home, including freshly painted gutters and fascia in black. The goal was to complete the transformation with a matching roof finish to create a cohesive, modern look across the entire property.

The result is a sharp, uniform black roof that enhances street appeal while providing long-term protection against harsh Melbourne weather conditions.

Scope of Works – Roof Painting Frankston

This project involved a full cement tile roof restoration in Frankston, including cleaning, repairs, and a high-performance coating system.

✔ Roof Cleaning & Preparation

The roof was high-pressure cleaned to remove dirt, moss, lichen, and built-up surface contaminants.

Proper preparation is essential for any roof painting Frankston project, ensuring coatings bond correctly and deliver long-term durability.

✔ Roof Repairs & Repointing

Before painting, we completed essential roof repairs to restore structural integrity:

Full roof pointing using flexible compounds
Replacement of cracked and broken cement tiles
General roof inspection and repair preparation

These steps ensure the roof is structurally sound before coatings are applied.

✔ Sealing & 3-Coat Roof Painting System

We applied a professional Roof Painting system designed for durability and coastal-style exposure common in Frankston.

1 coat of Regent Hi Build Sealer
2 top coats of Regent Tileguard in Black Night Sky

This system provides:

deep, consistent black finish
strong UV resistance
long-term weather protection
improved tile durability and surface sealing

The Result – Modern Black Roof in Frankston

This roof painting Frankston project delivered a dramatic transformation.

The roof changed from a faded, aged cement tile surface into a bold, uniform black finish that perfectly complements the home’s freshly painted black gutters and fascia.

The result is a cohesive, modern exterior that significantly improves street appeal while protecting the home for years to come.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caleb from Enhanced Paint and Roof Restoration recently repaired some leaks and damage on our roof, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. What stood out most was his professionalism and communication — he explained exactly what needed to be done, kept us updated throughout the job, and was upfront and honest about the work involved. No pressure, no hidden surprises, just clear and reliable communication the whole way through.

The repair work itself was done to a high standard, and it’s clear Caleb takes real pride in his craft. We were impressed enough that we’re already planning to have him back next year to paint the roof. Would happily recommend him to anyone needing roof repairs done properly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Definately one of the best home improvement decisions I've made was for Caleb at Enhanced Paint and roof Restoration to carry out repair, cleaning and finally a beautiful paint restoration on my tired terracotta tiles.
His approach was friendly, very professional, a reasonable quotation and finally a result that I couldn't be happier with.
My neighbour witnessing Calebs professional restoration is now considering him for her home.
I have no hesitation in recommending Caleb to others.
